One of the few dive sites at the south shores of Bodden Town is Pedro's Pinnacle, right across Pedro's Castle which is the National Historic Site of the Cayman Islands. It was an early English settler named William Eden who started a cotton and mahogany plantation on Savannah's Pedro bluff in 1740. His house which he called St. James is officially recognized as the earliest evidence of settlers in the Cayman islands.

The dive site across the castle is a very deep dive starting at seventy feet deep where you will find two huge pinnacles. They are decorated in stands of black coral and waving gorgonian sea fans. Its depth and often rough weather makes it diving for advanced divers only.
