A similar dive site as Stingray City is called the Sandbar which can only be reached by boat just off North Sound. It is a place where you can stand in three feet deep waters and feed and touch the stingrays. It is a great experience being so close to these majestic creatures as you see them gliding in the water around you. Squeeze the squid together, place it in the palm of your hands and feed the southern stingrays. It looks like their mouth is at the place where you expect its belly, giving you ample time to touch their soft skin.
